椎葉山仙人

■ 栗

お盆も過ぎて・・・　　雲の流れにも　　棚田を吹き抜ける風にも秋を感じる季節になって・・・




棚田の土手下に植えてある早生栗がぼつぼつ落ちる時季では・・・

と　小てごを腰につけて出かけてみたら・・・
家庭用や土産に配る程度の栗園ながら　　けっこう落ちていました

小てごからすずれ落ちるほどに・・・　　ざっと４キロ位



さて　　調理をどうしたものか？　？　？

家族のだれもが「美味しい」　ことは分かっていても・・・

面倒な皮むきをしょうと言うものが居ません


結局は山仙人の仕事になってしまいました。




昨夜の晩酌が過ぎて・・・　　7時過ぎには寝込んでしまったので

朝の2時半には目が覚めて・・・

目も頭もさえてしまって寝付けそうにもないので起き出して栗の皮むきに挑戦です。

美味しい渋皮煮を作るコツは「渋皮にきずをつけないでむくこと」
という家内の言葉を思い出しながら　丁寧に丁寧にと結構手間暇がかかります



不承不承に取り掛かった作業も栗の山が次第に皮をむいた栗の山に盛り上がっていくのが楽しくなりました



ながら作業でははかどらないのでテレビの深夜番組も見ないで



黙々と頑張ること3時間・・・　　ついに完了（　＾ω＾）・・・

達成感にホッ（　＾ω＾）・・・



そして　　ここから先は家内の仕事です（　＾ω＾）・・・


渋皮煮作りです　　　ここでも例のカマドの出番です


うま味を引き出すコツは？？？　　2度3度水を替えては炊きなおすようです



美味しそうなきれいな渋皮煮が完成です



これでまたグランドゴルフやゲートボール仲間に試食してもらい自慢話ができそうです

また子供たちの通学にお付き合い始めました

コロナ禍で椎葉も騒然としていますが休校にはならないようです

見守り隊などという大げさなものではなく
自分の健康づくりうウォーキングです

松尾小学校まで往復で約3キロを5000歩　(^_-)-☆　　

50分で歩くのが1日のスタートで楽しみです(^^♪
